Looking for family members of EVAN JOHN THOMAS born 31st of August 1912.I have very little information about this side of the family .EVAN JOHN THOMAS was my late father-in-law and its possible he came from Pontyberem where his Father DAVID LLOYD THOMAS was a coal merchant .His Mothers maiden name was possibly Cox .Evan John Thomas had 2 siblings a brother Named DAVID LLOYD THOMAS and A sister whose name was Sarah .When their mother left their father the 3 children were sent to live with different relatives EVAN was sent to live with an aunt and uncle in TREDEGAR.He joined the army at 18 returning to Wales after the war .EVAN married SUSANNAH BEAN at LLANELLY register office on the 25th february 1946 .His brother David was witness at the wedding .At this time EVAN was living at 4 ASHGROVE TERRACE PONTYBEREM .Would love infomation on the families of DAVID LLOYD THOMAS AND SARAH or info that could help me find the certificiates of these members of our family please contact me at [email protected] many thanks |
