TAYLOR FAMILY: I am looking for descendants of CHARLES and CHARLOTTE TAYLOR (nee Waldon). In the 1881 census Charles, 25, was a florist, living with his 25 year old wife Charlotte at 7 Lark Row, London, Middx. In the house at the time was Lucy Waldon (Weldon/Walden/Warden), aged 66, who was actually Charlotte's mother. They had 2 children at the time Isaac aged 1 and Charlotte aged 5. Ellen Sparks, aged 62, was a lodger. Charles and Charlotte were born in Bethnal Green, and their children were born in Hackney. Charlotte Taylor (nee Waldon) is the daughter of William Greorge and Lucy Waldon (nee Street). I have now made contact with descendants of Charlotte's brothers - Isaac and George and also her sister Louisa. I would love to hear from descendants of Charlotte. As well as gaining loads of family history on the Waldon family, I have a few photos of 'old waldons' I would like to identify. Get in touch if you think you can help - PLEASE. Trina Balharrie |
