Chester connections please? My father was born in 1924 in Chester (Ellesmere Port?), Oliver John Wright with brothers James and Thomas and sisters Margaret and Catherine. They were orphaned in 1926 and the family was split up. They have been reunited for years, but we would like to learn more about their father James William Wright. We understand he came from and lived in Chester. He possibly had step-sisters Rebecca and Alice and step-brothers Albert and Jack. James was born on 7th Sept 1888. He had a birth sister Minnie, and his mother was Elizabeth - unmarried. He married Ann Elizabeth Peyton (Payton) in Chester in 1917. James died in 1973 and Ann in 1926. Can anyone shed any light on this one please? Thanks, Jackie |
