Hi Everyone, I am desperately trying to find any descendants of John Moore, born 1880 in Glasgow to Martha Norman and John Moore. After his father's death in Glasgow in 1881, Martha took her two young sons, Alfred born 1878 in Sheffield and John born 1880 back to Sheffield. She later married Joel Hampson and lived in Cromer Street, Wincobank. It is thought that John married and had a son named Alfred sometime around 1910. John died on February 06 1972 at 122 Hucklow Road, Sheffield leaving a widow, his second wife Jessie nee young. She died five years later at the same address. Information on this family is urgently needed for a book which goes back to 1798. One book has already been published and is 1000pages containing over two and a half thousand descendants.
