Find Ancestors

Hi I am searching for any relations to my family which I don't know about. My grandfather was known as Peter Anthony Wright and he married my grandmother Alvis Esther Bamforth. My grandma knows nothing about her father, her mothers name is Alice Bamforth {also Ward surname somewhere in my grandmother's family tree}. My great grandfather's name was John William Rushworth and my great grandmother was May Wright {both parents of my grandfather}. My grandfather was originally Peter Anthony Rushworth until he had an argument with his father and changed his name to Wright {his mum's maiden name}. Peter was the only child of John and May, he then married Alvis and they had 8 children, David, Audrey, Steven, Caroline, Susan, Christopher {my father}, Linda and Paul. I am now trying to trace my family tree back but am stuck at my great grandparents and just wondered if anybody out there could help me.
