Does anyone have a T. Brown from London who worked at the Royal Arsenal and retired in February 1909! If so whilst looking at an entry for a relation I came upon this story about Mr. Brown's retirement after 26 years service. It doesn't say his Christian name just T. Article says that he worked at the Tailor's shop which doesn't seem to be anything to do with making clothes but something to do with guns? It said that he had lived to see the introduction of the quick firer and had helped to make material for the latest 12in which scored so heavily in China. Mr. Barber presented to mr. Brown a very handsome marble clock! I have the rest of the article if anyone wants it for free! Frances
