James Report 3 Jul 2005 07:27

JAMES TURNER. I am needing HELP. With the England Census's. My Great Grandfather James Turner married Martha Bowyer in the March Quarter on 1854 in Bethnal green London. I have been trying to find them listed in the Census's from 1861 to see I can locate any children. I have found a few James and Martha Turner in the site 1837online in the 1861 Census but do not know quite how to match them up. I thought I had actually match them by the code at the bottom of the page. (Is that how it is done??) I then tried to find children that they may have had by using the same process, without logging out of the site. There were many children listed but a great many of them apeared to have the same codes as for James and Martha. So that made it very difficult to match up any of their children. I am unable to get any further when I tried to view the the image. The two I was able to match was James, age 24, Clerkenwell, and Martha, age 30, London City. I have not been able to find any records of them in the other sites. If any one can HELP ME PLEASE. I would be very happy. Many Thanks. Jim Yapp.
