Hello Beryl,
From the information I have, Thomas Watson's father was William Watson born Flixton abt. 1846 (married Mary Ann Coates abt. 1869). His father was John Watson born Folkton/Flixton abt. 1814 he was married to Susannah Welbourn 31st March 1838. John was a shepherd. Hope this might be of some interest to you.
Regards, Trish

Beryl Honeyball, 27/10/2005. Searching for connections to Thomas(Tom)Watson b.20/10/1887, wife Georgina, brother Robert. Watson family associated with Flixton, Kilham, Hutton, Hull. Tom was my grand father. I think his fathers name was William, and he was a shepherd in the Kilham area when my mother was a young girl. There is also story of the earlier Watsons being Blacksmiths. I'd be grateful for any help.
