Victor Report 9 Nov 2005 17:26

My name is Victor Marshall Hutchinson, my father was born Victor Bartholomew, but Hutchinson was later added to his original birth certificate by a family who he went to as a young child. The family lived in Woodhouse, near Sheffield. From his original birth certificate he was born on February 13 1917 in Rotherham and his mother was unmarried, she was Amelia Bartholomew. and her occupation was driver for a glass manufacturing company During World War 1 she served with the FANY's, Field Artiliary Nursing Yeomanry as an ambulance driver. What happened to her I do not know, once my father was born and fostered out, possibly unofficially, that is the end of the trail. He would have known very little, if anything, about his natural mother Any information anyone can provide would be very much appreciated. Best Wishes form Victor Marshall Hutchinson [email protected]
