Member Since: January 0001 Posts: 0 Send Message	I am trying to trace any Read's who were born and raised in Norfolk around Woodbastwick,Blofield,Ranworth, Acle,and Norwich areas. My Great Grandmother Julia Read married a Benjamin Robert Barnes around 1914, but before this she had a daughter who was my grandmother. I have already made contact with some Barnes family members but I have not found any Reads, and would love to find out more about them. My mum says there was a Helen that was a part of the family but she never knew her surname,(could have been Read or Barnes) who was brought up and accepted as family memeber as a sister/cousin to her mother when she was young. Julia had some children through her marriage to Benjamin, Ernest Edward, Gertrude Vi, William Benjamin and Robert who died in a few days after birth. Julia father William, worked in an assylum in Norwich for a while and she has various brothers and sisters, all born inNnorwich. can anyone help?
