Trying to find more information about my late dad's side of the family. The Evans family live/lived in the LLanwyddyn area of Montgomeryshire near Lake Vrynwy. My dad's name was John Môn Evans born 1931 - died 1986. He left the area with his mother (in 1945) after the death of his father in 1944. My dad was always known by his second name. My grandfather's name was John William Evans (1891 - 1944). He also had an elder brother who married my gran's eldest sister, the brother's name was Robert David Evans. The only other thing I've got to go on is the names of the various houses the family lived. The houses/homes were called: Ty Uchaf, Rhiwgaer and Eunant. I believe that there might be some relatives still living in the area. |
