HI, My name is Carol. My great-grand-father was Richard Ward.He married Emily Mecey in 1883. Southampton They had a son William James ward who was my grand-father. Richard Wards parents were William Ward and Ann Richards and they married in 1850. Southampton. William and Ann had three children. Charlotte born 1860, Louisa born 1852, Richard born 1855. William died in 1860. On the 1861 census she was head of house. On the 1871 census she had married a James Witcher.They had three children. Annie E. Witcher, born 1867, Eliza E. Witcher, born 1870. Emma Witcher, born 1866. They were all living in the St. Mary area of Southampton. 1 Bell Building Please would any relatives of these children get in contact. Particularly those that were born Ward.
