DAVIES families, from MANCHESTER Hi, Am still seeking information on my Davies and associated families' ancestors from Manchester. The latest information I have includes: JOHN DAVIES b1809 Manchester, occupation Joiner, married Elizabeth (surname unknown) b 1812. They had: 1. ELIZABETH DAVIES b 1828 married DAVID BROWN b 1827, had children: John Brown, Jane Brown, Harry Brown, Polly Brown, Ben Brown and Eleanore Brown. 2. JANE DAVIES b 1829 married Stephen Storey b 1824, had children: Elizabeth Storey, Richard Storey, John Storey, Edward Storey and Emma Storey, then married JAMES COLGAN after 1st husband died. 3. JOHN DAVIES b 1831 4. WILLIAM DAVIES b 1833 5. PETER DAVIES b 1837 Some districts for them include Manchester, Chorlton, Ardwick, Didsbury. Associated families I am also researching in this line include: MACHELL, FAIRHURST, BROWN, COLGAN, TAYLOR. I would appreciate any further info on these families and to make contact with those researching the same family. Thank you. |
