HELP ! Thought thing's were going too well. Have started our family tree receantly a marriage certificate turned up today and i cannot read some of the names on it ,have asked every one in the house (all just say oh yes that's not easy is it ) i saw a week or so ago somewhere on the web a list of the alphabet and different way's each letter could be written,(thought at the time oh that's good )Now i need it can i find it again! any one seen it anywhere or any ideas on where i can get help. Also have lost Sarah McCartney on the 1861 census,i have her birth as 1859,born in manchester .she is the bride on certificate mentioned above her age on this is 18 and it is dated 24 ?(o,n,d) 1877.Have all details from 1871 onward's. would be thankfull of any help margaret
