Hi Trying to find info about CISSIE MAY BAKER, she was born in 1905 and worked as a domestic in a large house in Strood in Kent, she has one son in 1927 RONALD AUSTIN BAKER, who's father was unknown. We have drawn a blank as we believe Cissie was an unmarried mother and gave Ronald up for adoption to Dr Barnado's. He went in the navy at 16 and then on to become part of crew of a minesweeper out of Chatham Dockyards Kent. My husband Michael Baker, son of Ronald, would like to know more of the family tree, if only to find where Cissie is now or where she went to. If you have any info please post an email to us. Many thanks Kerry Baker |
