My name is Virginia Rose Aroha Felise nee Clarke. I am searching for any history on my great great grandfather James Hamish Power born in the 1800's. I am unsure where he was born but he came to New Zealand & Married Te Here Paora from the Wairarapa area. They had 7 children one of which was my great grandmother Hinemihi Power. Hinemihi Power (D.O.B:30.06.1901) married Eruera Kawhia Karaka aka Edward Fredrick Clarke (D.O.B:04.04.1889). They had 7 Children: (m) Robert Matu Hewa Clarke (m) Herbert Christen Clarke (m) Nicholas Edward Clarke (f) Christine Olson Clarke (f) Winnifred Clarke (f) Mavis Clarke (m) Monty Clarke My great grandfather Eruera aka Edward was born somewhere in the Kennedy Bay area Here in New Zealand.
