Could anyone help to trace a Thomas Davies born in south wales around 1770, he was a miner. He was married and had children to his first wife probably in wales, two of them were an Emmanuel and a Sarah E. ( Ellen?) born in early 1900's. He must have travelled to Yorkshire at some time with the family,as by 1922 he had met my grandmother Mary Ann Simpson and they had two children, Edward 1922, and Jane 1925. He died in Rotherham Yorkshire 1935. If anyone can shed any more light on this sketchy outline I would be grateful as I seem to have hit a brick wall. |
