Hi my names Veronica and I am trying to find my grandfathers brothers and sisters families. My grandfather Hugh Thompson, he had a brother Robert John, brother Samuel, and a sister ellen. His fathers name was Robert and his mothers name was Elizabeth MacCauley, His father was also called Robert and his mother was called Ellen Livingston. Elizabeth MacCauleys Parents were called. Hugh MacCauley and his wife was Catherine Murray. Robert and Elizabeth married in 1884 in Hastings Ontario. But Hugh's parents came from Ireland and were Catholic. Hugh was born in Thurlow Ontario Canada. The nearest city was called Belleville. Any help tracing these people would be greatfully recieved. |
