My brother and I are looking for a Maria Baker our grandmother think she was born in Hanley Staffordshire ? D.O.B 1891/2 Died 1944 her father was a John Baker who was a labourer she was first married to a Mr Watson who died.dont know when she married Mr Watson or when he died then she married a James Carmichael in sept 1923 a widower dont know who his first wife was or when she died. it was never spoken off. And a George Watson was a witness to the marriage at St John's chuch in Bury Lanc's They had a one child a son called James born in Bury july 1921.my dad I remember some reletives lived in Stoke-on-Trent and in Carnforth nr Morcombe around 1956/8 since then the family have lost touch. hope someone out there knows anything about her if so get back to me Many thanks Patricia |
