Message for Hazel Johnson. Could not get through on your Email. Don't know if I am of any help. My great great great grandfather, born 1810 in Clay Norfolk, was a royal naval coastguard. His name was William and he married a lady called Mary (perhaps Linney) from Co Wicklow in Ireland. The problem I have is that William called himself Johnston on his children's birth certificates, although the children continued to call themselves Johnson. He moved from Norfolk to Lyme Regis. His childen were born in Ireland and Lyme Regis. Other descendants were born in Falmouth, Wales and my grandfather Charles Johnson was born in Southampton
