My maternal Grandmother was Sarah Ann Allen - brought up after the age of 8 in Leominster Quaker orphanage with baby sister daisy who later went to live in Canada. they were born in Birmingham area and had other sisters and brothers. Oldest sister Agnes Allen married in Birmingham to Tom Satchell. Their father was William Allen and mother also Agnes and at one time livrd in Vere Street in Birmingham. All of Sarah's decendents now scattered around the UK but still close, would like to know more about the Allen family history. if you are related or have information please contact me through Genes re unuited. from Mary Evans now living in Devon. |
