Hello everyone, I'm trying to trace the history of the Green Family of Sheerness Kent. My grandmother was Edith May Green born 1884 in Sheerness. There were seven other children in the family;- Harriet c1869 Ada c1871 James c1875 Alfred c1878 William c1880 Lillian c1882 Florence c1887. Their parents were James Green c1847 and Harriet nee Rutland c1847. James father was also James Green c1812, he married Elizabeth Chapman c1812 (not sure of dob). James was a shoemaker/binder. His parents were Nathaniel Green c1776 and Frances 1781, they had four other children;- Edward c1826 Rachael c1821 Harriet c1839 Elizabeth c1821 I would be very grateful for information about any of these family members and to hear from any other individuals researching the 'Greens' from Sheerness. Contact with any living relatives would be very welcome. This is the maternal side of the family and I'm hoping that I will have the same luck as I have with the paternal line. Found many relatives that I never knew existed. Fingers crossed. Elaine
