Member Since: December 2004 Posts: 4 Send Message	WARD - SCUGDALE, SWAINBY, WHORLTON my grandfather john william ward, known as bill was born in this area in 1915, he had a brother alfie.Alfie married a doreen and they were farmers.His father was John Henry Ward, but i dont have any more details apart from there was an auntie nellie who i remember which could have been his sister. Nelie was born in 1898 and lived in swainby all her life, she never married and took in stray cats has anyone got any information for me please.
