Find Ancestors

My Mother-in-law's Father was an Ernest John Allen, he was born in1885 and he married Ada Mary Fowler. Ernest was a stoker on board ship and was lost at sea in November 1913 having never seen his daughter who was born in June that year. He was born in Sherbourn, Dorset and his family were all born around Studland and Charminster areas of Dorset. His father was John Allen his Mother was Harriet (maiden name unknown) the family consisted of brothers William J, and Sidney G, sisters Annie P, Olive R, and Louisa M. Father John Allen had a brother named Charles, and their Father was William, this is all i have managed to find out from the cencus and have matched it up with the one and only photo I have that Mother-in- law always said was her fathers family. As her Mother re-married no contact as far as we know was kept with the rest of the family, although i have a letter that was sent to Ada from Harriet after the death of Ernest.
