Elizabeth Report 15 Mar 2006 21:12

I am trying to trace my fathers Brother Arthur, my father George Jackson was born in 1917, I always thought they were from Thirsk North Yorkshire, but a friend told me they came from Skipton, North Yorkshire. They had a sister called Nancy, who died young 26 (from drinking untreated cows milk) they were in the farming community and I believe their mother was called Elizabeth, so I suspect their father would be called either George or Arthur. My father is still alive will be 89 in May, but not fit enought to answer questions at the moment and would like to tell him about his brother before he passes away if possiable they have not seen each other for 59 years. Would be delighted to receive any information. Liz Winterbourne( nee Jackson)
