Looking for any information on a Frederick Harris, son of Frederick Harris and Mary Chapman, brother to, Elizabeth Maud (Maud), Irene(Ivy), Henry(Harry), John and Hedlie(Eddie). He is my grandad's brother and I know nothing about him. The only surviving son has no information either. Fred and Mary didn't marry until they had 3 children, in 1911, I have been told his family didn't want him to marry her! I believe Frederick was born around 1903-1904 in Islington London, but that is all I have on him. Frederick Harris senior was from South Africa and came to England after the Boer War, his father was a member of the Cape Mounted Police. Mary Chapman came from Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire. Any leads that anyone may have will be great, and if I can help anyone please contact me too. |
