Hi Family Legend has it that my great uncle Frederick Davis (b 1889, St Leonards, Sussex) became a beefeater. Presumably this was after active service in the army (ww1). I believe he married - any descendants? I realise that looking for Fred Davis is akin to needles and haystacks, but nothing ventured........ Can anyone help? Thanks Anne |
