AARON Parker circa 1800 Ipswich, Suffolk Aaron Parker Snr's son Aaron was born c. 1821 so its likely Aaron Snr. was over 15 years old at the time? He was recorded as deceased in 1869 so therefore, had he lived a long virile life we can still assume he was less than 60 years old when he fathered young Aaron giving a guesstimated period of 1760 - 1805. It's usually the first son that is named after his Dad and as its possible that the first children may have been girls, my money covers 1780 - 1800 with the latter half getting the focus for his DOB? Aaron ‘Son of Aaron’ was born circa 1821 & moved to London from Ipswich after the 1861 census & Walter was born on 25 March 1868. Walter William Parker was the first of my Parkers to be born in the East End of London. He was 8 when his father died aged 54 years. His birth certificate states Elizabeth Parker formerly Smith as the mother & informant, Aaron married Elizabeth Smith in 1869 after moving to London. He was a widower who 'made his mark' when he married for the second time at Bromley Parish Church, London, Middlesex, on 10 January 1869 aged 47. Elizabeth, I think, is surprisingly old to be a spinster at 32. Both were born in Ipswich Aaron’s first wife was Susannah Pollard born circa 1824. He lived in Shire Hall Yard, Ipswich & was a foundry man when they married on the 7th January 1847 at Ipswich Register Office. Old Foundry Road is 200 yards away from Shire Hall Yard. Susannah was noted as a dressmaker by 1851 (census) when they were living at 116 Albert Street, Ipswich. There are no children mentioned. Aaron died in West Ham in 1876 and is named as Walter's father (deceased) on his marriage certificate in 1891. Any help gratefully received.
