hi i,m trying to trace my fathers family as i know nothing about them.my fathers name was robert macgregor brown. he was born in glasgow in around 1910 his father was john andrew brown , his mother was either grace hyacith or maude or maybe all three! my father also said he had a sister called janet. i,m not sure what happened to the marriage whether my grandfather died or if they divorced, but the family somehow ended up living in lowestoft and my grandmother re-married and became a mrs kirby. if anyone recognises anything from my clutching at straws i would be very happy to hear from you karole. |
