I am trying to find out about a family of Evans that lived in Llanhilleth, Pontypool. My Maternal Grandmother was born there and was one of 22 children some of whom died. These are a few of the names of the children. Gladys Maud Evans my grandmother 1903 I Believe she was one of the youngest. Beatie or beatrice Florrie an Evie or Edie. One of the children don't know her name died at the age of 22 years due to womens problems. Some of them moved away to London for a while and then came back and run a pub in Six bells Abertillery. Their were children born to some of them one of the names is Sylvie. Apparently they didn't all live in the family home at the same time. The men were colliers. Not much to go on but any information at all on the family would be great. Much obliged. |
