Hi All, I'm looking for some info regrading my Grandad & Granma's marriage. Appartently (i've been told) that they had thier first child 'out of wedlock' then married then had 6 further children (which I have the info for). My Grandad name was Fred Wilson born 21/10/1888 in shaw/oldham and my Grandma's name was Mary Wilson (nee Pitman) born 31/08/1891. My Grt Grandad is called John Wilson - (Gtr Gran Unkown as of yet) and my other Grt Grandad was called John Pitman and his wife was called Alice. May seen a little confusing - but I could do with this litlle piece of the puzzle. I'm sure it would have been registered in The Oldham area.
