searching for information about Charles turner of Salford. He married Martha Lever also of Salford in 1850. He was a Slater and his father was also called Charles. Charles and Martha had at least 5 children, Thomas William 1853 Slater George 1855 Slater Jane 1858 died in infancy Charles 1860 died in infancy Albert 1862 Slater does anyone know about any of these Turners? Thomas William went on to marry Mary Jane Elgin in 1875 and they had 4 Children Sarah Jane Clara Thomas born 1885 in Ancoats William Thomas went on to marry Harriet Wardley they had 3 sons Thomas Arthur and Harold. Thomas Turner was my husbands Father and was born in 1911. although I am interested in all connections I have got stuck with Charles Turner senior I only know that he was a small ware weaver in 1850. any help would be appreciated. |
