delith ann mcfadden(nee davis) I am looking for my grandfathers family. They lived in maryhill glasgow circa 1900 My grandfather's parents weren't married, they lived together for many years and had 8 children. My great grandmother was from northen ireland,my great grandfather from the west of scotland. I believe that my greatgrandfather's family did not approve of his choice of partner. He was found drowned in maryhill canal. My grandfather's name was Alexander Davis and he married Alice Collins. My grandfather worked in Townhead, building railway engines. My fathers name was Alexander Davis and he had three brothers, William , John and James. He also had two sisters, Mary and ALice. I would love to know more about either of my greatgrandparents . |
