Anthony Report 30 Jun 2005 19:52

My grandfather Thomas Sydney Lloyd was born in Lytham Lancashire on 18 Feb 1883 He emigrated to South Africa and joined the British Military Police (or so we believe). He married Elizabeth Human on 16 Feb 1907 at Roodeport and they had two boys that were sent back to England with his wife before the start of WW1. Leaving them without support, his wife died in a workhouse in Wesham Lancashire in 1916. He married again and had at least two daughters and a son and was located in Uganda and Kenya in the mid war years. One daughter (Edna ?)was known to be in Jinja in 1946 working fior the PWD. I would appreciate any help in locating any descendents of this second family or of any information about their activities in British East Africa.
