Is there anyone out there who can help me solve a family secret. My Grandmother was a Daisy Louise Clarke she married a Thomas Henry Johnson we believe in Knaresborough in June of 1905 We think she had 5 children by him before leaving him to go off with a Canadian soldier from WW1 and having my father by the Canadian Thomas and Daisy moved to the Eastleigh area of Hampshire at some point but we have no idea when, no information was ever given to my father about her past and there was not even a photo in the house whilst he was growing up. On my fathers birth certificate his father is down as Thomas Henry Johnson on his marrage certificate his father is down as Sidney Alfred Johnson and his mothers name was Irene Margaret Clarke both different names to what are on his birth certificate. Can anybody give me any help with sorting out this very secretive life that my grandmother had no wish for anyone to find out about
