Hi I'm looking for any descendants from John Morton Wright and Elizabeth Mcghee nee Gibson .They had 5 children that I know of so far. 1)William Alexander b1892 Sorbie Dumfries 2)Agnes Mcghee b1893 married William McSkimming in 1913 3)Anthony Gibson b1895 married 1)Grace Gibson in 1918 son Anthony Gibson Wright 2)Helen Ballantine 1925 son Anthony Reynolds Wright 4)John b1898 m Mary Boyle 1921 in Ardrossan 5)Robert b1900 m Annie Ballantyne. If anyone recognises any of these names please get in touch.The family moved from Dumfries to Ayr between 1895 and 1898.John Morton Wright started working in farming but then changed to working on railways,as did several of his sons. |
