Member Since: January 2010 Posts: 2 Send Message	HI im not sure if I am the right Davies, one of my ancestors married a Mary Hall. The Davieses came from South Wales and they were Coal miners. I am trying to find out where in South Wales. I am not sure which Davies came to the West Midlands but I was told there was a large family of them. Can you help me.

My dad's father WILLIAM HENRY DAVIES was born July 1881, in LLANTRISANT, BRIDGEND, SOUTH WALES. His mother was a HALL, from BETTWS, BRIDGEND. Any other DAVIES family that think they are related, please make contact. My grandfather moved to BARRY, for work in the early 1900's-on the docks. He died in 1955.He had sisters, BEATTY and BLODWEN, and I think, brothers called EDGAR, TOM and WILLIE. Not sure about the whereabouts of all their families? Can anyone help? Many thanks, Gill Davies.
