I have been researching the Bennett family tree over the past two years. The Bennett's have a long history of Brickmaking in Mapperley Nottingham. My tree goes back to 1748. My grt, grt Grandfather Charles Bennett (1832-1909) had 10 children, they all stayed in Mapperley, apart from his eldest son Francis Thomas Bennett, (my grt Grandfather) who moved to Bracebridge in Lincolnshire, to run a Brickworks there, he had 15 children. I haven't managed to trace any living relatives, in Mapperley or Bracebridge! Avril Roberts (nee Bennett)
