I am trying to find descendants and ancestors of Robert Davies born around 1890 in Welsh St. Donats near Cowbridge, Glamorgan. He had a sister Edith who died in childbirth and another sister Katie, a spinster. He married Ellen Mortimer in Cardiff in 1913 and they had two sons, Thomas in 1814 and Noel approx 1916. Ellen died shortly after and the boys were brought up by aunts. Robert's whereabouts were unknown after that until approx 1964 a son by a second or third marriage was looking for Thomas to invite him to his father's funeral as he had died in Torquay or Torbay area, but no contact number or address was left to enable that to take place. Robert was said to have married for the second time to someone who kept a pub in the South Wales valleys. please contact me if there is a connection. |
