Hello I am trying to trace the scott family My mother born 1923 was one of 7 children born to Joseph Scott born circa 1885 and his wife Mary born circa 1887. As far as I know they were both born in Hull but believe my grandmother was of Irish descent, not having her maiden name I have come up against a brick wall, can anyone help me to move further down the soctt line. Would appreciate any informaton no matter how small. I have managed to trace through the 1891 census the name of Joseph H Scott born in Sculcoates, which is part of Hull and his date of birth was 1863. Thanks Kath |
