My grandad was Frederick Charles horace ? adopted in 1910 when he was around 5 years old believed to have be born around christchurch area hants, he was adopted by Joseph Davis and his wife known as fanny,ellen or ann(nee Miles) who were farmers at a place called Tucking mill compton Dando somerset, Joseph was born in marshfield glouc, his parents were Thomas Davis and Elizabeth(nee Hall), ellen was born in kington st michael wilts, her parents were noah and sarah miles. I am interested in finding out about any of these people to maybe shed some light on who my grandad was adopted from as his adopted parents were in their early 50s when they had him so i wonder if he was a relatives child, if you have any info at all no matter how small then please let me know, thanks |
