The name Robertson was allegedly first given to Clan Donnachaid after the battle of Bannockburn. However, on with the facts - According to legend, the battle was pretty much an even-steven sort of affair when members of Clan Donnachaid went up to have a look see - obviously out of spear and arrow range.
