I am looking for Hughes families who are descendants of the Hughes family living in West Kirby and then Hoylake , Wirral in the early and then late 1800's. They would be descendant from Thomas Hughes & Jane Wright, Joseph Hughes & Margaret Barlow, Thomas Hughes & Mary Jones ( who also married William Croxton ), and Thomas Hughes & Anne Harding. Thomas & Anne, the last in this direct lineage, had sons William, Thomas, John, Archibald and Moses, possibly an Aaron. Daughters included: Mary Lizzie Heavysage, Emily Moss, Sarah Annie Swift, and Maggie Rainford. All listed with married names. The family lived on Market Street in Hoylake and cousins included descendants of Richard Hughes & Alice Eccles : Frances May Shaylor, Eva Marion Anderson, Percy Hughes and John Steens Hughes. and Thomas Hughes ( married to Mary Ledsham).
