Robert Nichols (01/11/2004 14:41:33) | Update Message | Delete Message Hi everyone, are there any 'musical Wrights' on the site. My g.g.g. grandfather was Thomas Hargroves Wright b.1802 in ripon yorkshire, and he was a professor of music. his son James Wright b.1838 in reading, was also a professor of music. his brother Thomas Hargroves Wright b.1836 in reading was a sheet music publisher in liverpool at the turn of the last century, and james son....Thomas Hargroves Wright b.1862 in jersey was a band leader at venues all over the north in the uk. james other son Frederick Harbor Wright also b. in jersey was a celebrated violinist who emigrated to australia. alas i cant even hum in tune, but attribute my prowess in life to my great grandmother Fanny Clarissa Cantrell nee Wright who was a licensed victualler at the knowsley arms, derby road, liverpool. so, are there any related Wrights out there who are still whistling a fine tune
