My Great grandmother name was Elisa Ward b.1863 London, her father was Frederick Ward b.about 1839, her mother also Elisa b. about 1841 they lived in Lambeth and run a Coffee House in Westminster Bridge Road. She had 3 bothers Charles b. about 1864, William b. about 1870 and Harry who I think died when a child. Charles and William went on to have a Hackney carriages in London. Elisa married in 1881 to Claude Randall b.about 1861, they had 10 children, Frederick, Louise, Harry, Ellen (my grandmother) Claude, William, Colin, Doris, Pauline and Madeline. Most where born in Lambeth London, but a few else where. I know that they had something to do with the circus and traveled around, at one time in Larkin, Belgium around the 1910-1912. If anyone can help any further would love to hear from you. |
