Looking for BARKER JOHNSON`s father. He`s not on Barker`s birth cert(24/06/1851) or marriage cert(25/11/1872) Barker was born to JANE JOHNSON in Wombleton, North Yorkshire. The informant on his birth cert is ELIZABETH SLATER who lived in a building called COURT GARTHS or COTE GARTHS as I found it on as old map of wombleton. Has anyone heard of this building ot what it was used for? He married ANN BARKER at Stonegrave, Helmsley and had 4 children JANE ANN, GEORGE WILLIAM, FLORENCE and TOM. Don`t have Barker`s death date. A possibility for his father is: Harum Thomas Barker Head Un 57 Ag Lab Harum YKS Harum Jane Johnson Serv Un 45 House keeper Newcastle Harum Barker Johnson Nephew Un 9 Scholar Wombleton YKS Any help would be great as I`ve run out of ideas.
