I am having great trouble trying to find my G/Dad's second marriage. His name was Henry Johnson, born 16 January 1868. His father was called William and lived in GARBET street B'ham. This is all that we can find about him. Henry married Clarice Bailey 17th April 1897, we have no record of her death.but was known to be after 1906 the year her youngest son was born. Henry, who we know was a Quaker, re-married a Kate*,surname unknown, maybe between 1907-1910. I know these facts are very slim but I do know for certain all these event's took place in Birmingham, and the family lived at 104 Third Avenue Small Heath B'ham. It might help to add that G/Dad was on the City Council for a number of years and became an Alderman. The year he died,1939, he was Lord Mayor Elect. |
