I am looking for any info on the family of my great grandmother Ellen Elizabeth Taylor. She died c1989 and it was believed that she was well into her 90's when she passed away. Her birth was not registered, but she remembered Queen Victorias funeral. Her father was believed to be a Thomas Taylor who was a road engineer, and her mother was Beryl Taylor, poss born in Banbury. She had several siblings, Harold, William,Lawrence,Thomas, Hilda (still living at 96) Elsie and Hattie.Believe Harold and Thomas fought in the Spanish Civil was and were prisoners of war. If any of this rings any bells please contact me. Thanks. |
