I am trying to trace relatives of George Wilson, born c 1899, father Joseph Wilson. Birthplace not known.George Wilson was a widower when he married my grandmother, Martha Ellenora Martinsen (a widow) in 1934. Martha had a daughter, Olga, my mother, and George and Martha had a son Brian George, who was mongoloid and died aged about 7.They lived at 47 Oban St. Poplar at the time of their marriage and George was a wine cellarman. Martha was blind and was previously married to a Norwegian seaman. If anybody has any info re George and Martha, especially photographs, certs etc I'd be extremely grateful. Thank you. |
