Member Since: January 2003 Posts: 11 Send Message	I am trying to find out about my grandfather John Bennett as I never knew him. He and my grandmother split when my mum was a baby. He was born in Lancashire in 1916 and had a brother and a sister, Martha and Athur. His parents names were John Bennett and Florence Nightingale Duckworth. In October 1940 he married my grandmother Bertha Hartley at Christ Church in Blackburn. I believe that after he and my grandma split he eventually moved to Birmingham were he lived until he died. Although he left in 1954 they did not divorce until summer 1976.
